Savannah Business Journal Staff Report
July 3, 2017 - The Ford Plantation has announced that Tom Draffin has been named Director of Association Management. In this position, Tom will be responsible for working closely with the property owners during the four periods of ownership: lot ownership; home planning and construction process; post construction maintenance and compliance.
In managing the POA’s responsibilities, Tom will work closely with the POA Board, the Ford staff, the Town Architect, contractors, and governmental authorities.
"Tom is very familiar with Ford and our members. From 2003, for more than ten years, Tom supervised work at The Ford Plantation on behalf of J.T. Turner Construction and worked directly with members, prospects, staff, and City of Richmond Hill officials," The Ford Plantation board wrote homeowners.
During those years, Draffin was involved in more than 30 projects at Ford, including new construction, additions, and renovations of existing residences, as well as the repair and renovation of the Clubhouse.
"He has been on property this past week getting up to speed, and he will be at Ford full time beginning in early July," states the Board.
