Sales Center Opens for Sophisticated Homes of Ellis Square

Category: Residential Real Estate

The sales center for the Studio Homes of Ellis Square, historic downtown Savannah’s most distinctive new residential development, opened recently offering convenient opportunities to purchase one of 28 studio homes.
Nestled in the heart of Savannah, the Studio Homes of Ellis Square are the first in the city to provide ultra-efficient, decorator furnished residences in six stories, and are adjacent to the new AVIA Hotel, affording walk-to convenience to River Street, City Market and many other downtown entertainment and cultural attractions.
Architect Andrew Lynch and interior designer J. Banks Design Group devoted meticulous attention to creating every detail of the fully-furnished one- and two-bedroom units. The Studio Homes come complete with every necessity for gracious living, from stylish furniture and artwork to gourmet kitchen wares for cooking and dining.
Lynch said the design tema’s dedication to every aspect of crafting the Studio Homes into an upscale, contemporary project made the efoort “a joy.”
“What makes these units so special, in my opinion, is the custom finishing in the bathrooms and kitchens,” Lynch said. “The quality of what the developers have done is unmatched by any multifamily developments that I know of in Savannah.”
Large windows add light and scale to the urban contemporary decor, while balconies extend the living space beyond interior confines. The warmth of exposed brick evokes the spirit of old Savannah with rich fabrics adding a swath of texture to the interior’s clean lines.
Chad Wright, News Place Developers’ managing partner, said the Studio Homes design and development team focused on supplying every requirement of the owners’ daily lives except for toiletries and wardrobe. Tasteful, carefully selected furniture, housewares, artwork and linens will make elegant city living as simple as walking in the door.
“Along with the architect and designer, we have focused our attention on every details to make moving into our Studio Homes effortless,” Wright said. “After closing, the new home owners will only need to bring their clothing and personal items.”
Owners will enjoy the rooftop garden and club room offering great views of the newly restored Ellis Square and other picturesque Savannah sights, dedicated covered parking (a rarity in downtown Savannah) and additional storage on each floor. The rooftop includes a firepit, grill and outdoor seating. Residents will also have access to the AVIA Hotel’s heated pool, fitness facilities, business center and housekeeping services
