Leadership Changes Announced at The Landings Company

The Landings Company has announced that James L. Robinson, currently president and chief executive, has elected to retire effective Nov. 1, 2009.
“Robinson has led the Company for the past six years through the dramatic ups and downs of the real estate cycle,” according to a statement released by the board of directors, which thanked him for his service, and wished him well in future endeavors.
Robinson's position will not be filled immediately. Instead, Larry Wills, a former Chairman of the Board, will act as Chief Operating Officer for the interim period.
A1 Arcady, current Board Chairman will become the Chief Executive Officer and Chuck Koepke,
Board member and Treasurer, will continue to oversee financial operations. Tony
Baker, Jerry Grader, Ron Morris and Gerry Von Bargen continue as Board members, according to the announcement.
The Landings Company, created by vote of the property owners in 1997, is a for-profit, taxable
Corporation wholly owned by The Landings Association. The mission of The Company is to market The Landings, nationally and locally, and to support real estate demand and property values.
Marketing is funded from the profits from real estate listings and sales and from a rental management program operated for home owners.
“The Landings Company's continued success is critical to the future of The Landings,” the board added.
