Savannah Business Journal Staff Report

June 8, 2018 - Allegiant today launches new nonstop service from Nashville, Tennessee to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). To celebrate, the company, known for its exceptional travel deals, is offering one-way fares on the new route for as low as $45.*

“We’re thrilled to launch another new route for travelers to experience the beauty and charm of Savannah and Hilton Head,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue. “There is a great deal of demand for affordable travel between these two cities, and we’re proud to meet that need with these nonstop, ultra-low-cost flights.”

The new seasonal route will operate twice weekly and expand on the service Allegiant currently operates to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), bringing the total number of Allegiant routes to Savannah to 10. The new route will bring nearly 11,000 additional visitors to the area contributing to visitor spending in the local economies. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“Allegiant’s decision to select Savannah/Hilton Head as one of the first airports for its new Nashville service is an affirmation of our efforts to increase nonstop air service for region,” said Stephen Green, chairman of Savannah Airport Commission. “Our residents can now enjoy convenient, affordable direct access to one of the premier cities in the Southeast U.S. At the same time, the entire 1.7M residents of the Nashville MSA gain direct access to Southeast coasts of Georgia and South Carolina, This creates a win/win situation for both regions and demands a hearty “thank you” to Allegiant Air.”

Allegiant offers a unique option to travelers with low base fares and savings on rental cars and hotels. Travelers can book their entire vacation with Allegiant for less.

*About the introductory one-way fares:
