Jan. 23 – City Council Announces Atlanta Travel Plans which include Meetings with Arena Architects

January 23, 2019 – The Savannah City Council has released their travel and meeting plans for the next four days, as a public notice today.

It states that “Members of the City Council will be in Atlanta Thursday, January 24, 2019, through Monday, January 28, 2019, for various events. In addition to Georgia Municipal Association training sessions through the weekend.
The itinerary is as follows:

Thursday, January 24

11:30 a.m.: City of Savannah Legislative Lunch with Chatham County Delegation, Room 132 of State Capitol

2:30 p.m.: Savannah-Chatham Day Legislative Meeting at the Capitol

5:30 p.m.: Seafood Fest Reception at Georgia Freight Depot


Friday, January 25

9:00 a.m.: Availability to Meet with Arena Architects. This is one of two opportunities for members of Council to meet with representatives from Perkins + Will at their offices, 1315 Peachtree St. NE

3:30 p.m.: Tour of City Springs, Sandy Springs’ new arts-and-government complex/city center, with the Mayor and City Manager of Sandy Springs. 1 Galambos Way, Sandy Springs.


Sunday, Jan. 27

2 p.m.: Availability to Meet with Arena Architects. Second of two opportunities to meet with Perkins + Will, 1315 Peachtree St. NE


Monday, January 28

10 a.m.: Tour of Alpharetta City Center, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta
