Nov. 7, 1:15 p.m. Midterm Election Results So Far

November 7, 2018 - The Georgia gubernatorial race is currently at 50.4% of the votes for Brian Kemp (R), with 48.7% reporting for Stacey Abrams (D). There are still numerous absentee, provisional and overseas ballots to be counted, with a State Inspector from the SOS's office currently observing the process locally at the Board of Elections' Eisenhower headquarters. Abrams has vowed to remain in the race until every ballot is counted. 

Locally, incumbents Rep. Buddy Carter (R) and Senator Ben Watson (R) won over Lisa Ring (D) and Sandra Workman (D), respectively.

All ballot measures have passed, including the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund (Amendment 1), Marsy's Law (Amendment 4), and the "Brunch Bill", allowing for on-premises Sunday sales of alcohol at 11 a.m.
