Jan. 10 - Thomas & Hutton Announces New Hires in Savannah, Brunswick and Atlanta Offices

January 10, 2020 - Thomas & Hutton recently announced 4 new hires in their Savannah, Brunswick and Atlanta offices. 

Anthony Mannering joined Thomas & Hutton’s Structural Department as a Project Manager in its Savannah office. Mannering brings over 23 years of experience in onshore and offshore structural design, and 11 years of experience as a lead/project engineer. 

He received his Master of Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from the University of Idaho and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Materials (steel) from Texas A&M University. A licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, Louisiana and Georgia, Mannering is a former member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).  Currently, he is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Petroleum Institute (API), where he chairs Sub-Committee 8, Task Group 1, and is responsible for the latest revisions of API Specification 4F and API Recommended Practice 4G.

Travis Dent joined Thomas & Hutton’s Transportation Department as an Engineering Technician in its Brunswick office. Recently retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation after 30 years of service in the Preconstruction Department, Dent spent 19 years in Jesup Road Design and 11 years in Field Survey as the District’s Survey Data Processing Engineer. 

Keith Stewart joined Thomas & Hutton’s Transportation Department as a Project Engineer in its Brunswick office. Stewart recently retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation after 30 years of service. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology degree from Georgia Southern College.

Jake Michael joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Engineering Department as a Designer in its Atlanta office. Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Georgia and is a registered Engineer-in-Training in Georgia.
