June 11 - Savannah Book Festival elects new officers, directors

June 11, 2019 - Embarking on its 13th season, the Savannah Book Festival Board of Directors re-elected President Beau Anders and Vice President Ivy Council, as well as electing Treasurer Bob Zerbe and Secretary Carter Eagle.

Jeannie Ahrens, Chris Corey, Jenny Gentry, Debra Larson and David Rea also were elected at the Annual Meeting as new directors serving a three-year term.

The Savannah Book Festival Inc. (SBF) is an independent, non-profit corporation committed to encouraging literacy and the love of books. SBF presents best-selling and emerging authors in special events throughout the year, including a four-day Presidents Day weekend featuring talks by dozens of authors. The 2020 SBF will be held Feb. 13-16, 2020, in locations in and around Telfair, Wright and Chippewa Squares in Savannah’s Historic District.
