Savannah Business Journal Staff Report

August 9, 2018 - Olivetti, McCray & Withrow, LLC, a client-focused law firm based on Hilton Head Island, S.C., recently hired Jill R. Kroamer as an Associate Attorney. Kroamer brings significant experience with local, federal and military justice systems to her position at the firm.

At Olivetti, McCray & Withrow, LLC, Kroamer plays an integral role on the firm’s established probate and estate planning team. She handles probate litigation, beneficiary representation, trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship cases and provides support in real estate-related matters.

“Jill’s extensive knowledge of the law and passion for her work make her a valuable addition to our team,” said firm partner Cathy West Olivetti. “Our clients are already finding her to be a trusted legal resource and a creative problem-solver.”

Kroamer brings extensive knowledge of South Carolina law to her new position. Before joining Olivetti, McCray & Withrow, LLC, she served as an attorney at The Law Office of Michael J. Howell, P.A., also headquartered on Hilton Head Island. She quickly rose the ranks from law clerk to accomplished attorney, contributing to the success of complex, multi-party litigations and mediations.

Earlier in her career, she was a civilian paralegal in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General Corps in Grafenwoehr, Germany. During her time in Germany, Jill specialized in civilian cases and immigration procedures and was honored with the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service for her superior work. Later, she interned with administrative law and military justice divisions on Fort Stewart, Ga.

A U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs accredited attorney, Kroamer is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Hilton Head Bar Association, the South Carolina Resolution of Fee Dispute Board, the WSBA Legal Assistance to Military Personnel Section, the Washington Bar Association and the Federalist Society.

Kroamer graduated in the top third of her class at Savannah Law School, where she earned the 2016 Pro Bono Service Award. She also earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She currently resides in Pooler, Ga.
