April 4 - New Hires at Hilton Head Law Firm

April 4, 2011 - The Law Offices of Catherine West Olivetti, LLC, a leading law firm on Hilton Head Island, S.C., has announced two new staff members.

Emily S. Boatwright recently joined the firm's growing team as an attorney. In her new position, Boatwright specializes in loss mitigation and real estate law including short sales, deed-in-lieu and mortgage settlements.

"Emily shares the same deep commitment to client solutions that our firm was founded upon," said Catherine West Olivetti, founding partner of the Law Offices of Catherine West Olivetti, LLC. "Our clients are delighted with her professionalism and her knowledge of the industry."

Prior to law school, Boatwright worked at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. During law school, she clerked at Massey, Eaton & Associates and owned and operated two restaurants with her husband in Columbia, S.C.

Born in Durham, N.C., Boatwright grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania. She earned a B.S. in Marine Science as well as a J.D. from the University of South Carolina. She currently lives on Hilton Head Island with her husband and two sons.

Bonnie L. Horan also recently joined the firm's growing team as a real estate paralegal.

In her new position, Horan assists the firm's attorneys in the coordination of residential real estate matters, including the careful review and preparation of closing documents related to refinancing, short-sale and purchase matters.

"Bonnie is an accomplished professional with a deep understanding of real estate law, strong commitment to clients and impressive attention to detail," said Catherine West Olivetti. "We're delighted to welcome her to our team."

Horan has more than 15 years of experience in the legal profession and has utilized her vast real estate paralegal experience at several major law firms in the Hilton Head Island area. An Ohio native, she earned a B.A. in social work at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and an ABA Paralegal Certification from The National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta. She has lived on Hilton Head Island since 1993.

"I'm excited to continue my career at the Law Offices of Catherine West Olivetti," said Horan. "It is my pleasure to work with such dedicated and talented attorneys. I believe this is the perfect environment to grow both personally and professionally."
