Savannah Business Journal Staff Report

December 18, 2019 - The Annual Low Country Home & Garden Show will return to the Savannah Convention Center for its 20th anniversary from Friday, Jan. 17 to Sunday, Jan. 19. Whether you are looking to build a backyard gazebo, remodel a bathroom, or install new technology in your home, this year’s 3-day event will give you the opportunity to explore endless aisles of both indoor and outdoor inspiration to jumpstart your home improvement projects in the New Year.

The Low Country Home & Garden Show gives homeowners a look into the latest in home and garden trends, while also offering fun for the whole family. At the event, attendees can roam thousands of square feet of exhibits for home improvement products and services as well as garden and landscape features; talk face-to-face with home improvement pros including contractors and remodelers; take part in kid-friendly activities including a Pete the Cat meet and greet, chalk paint art, Lowe’s crafts, a make and take wood workshop, face painting, and glitter tattoos; and much more! The first 100 attendees in the door will also win fun giveaways from Lowe’s and Tim & Dave’s Nursery.

Attendees will be able to participate in entertaining and informative seminars from this year’s special guest, Joanie Sprague. Joanie went from America’s Next Top Model runner up to power tool diva and is currently a carpenter on TLC’s Trading Spaces. She’s always been handy and her go-getter attitude and bright personality gets her noticed! She will be sharing her most valuable tool tips and tricks and answering questions about attendees’ next DIY projects.

New to the show this year is the Eat It & Like It Cooking Stage hosted by Jesse Blanco. Chefs from Savannah’s favorite restaurants and resorts as well as local cookbook authors will appear on the Eat It & Like It Stage. Attendees will be able to learn tips and tricks for cooking like a pro at home, ask chefs everything you ever wanted to know about food, and enjoy delicious samples.

Tickets for the 20th Annual Low Country Home & Garden Show are $7 for Adults (17+) and $6 for Seniors (65+) and retired military with ID. The show is free for youth under 16, active duty military, first responders, and school district employees with ID. Tickets are available at  https://showtechnology.ticketbud.com/20th-anniversary-low-country-home-garden-show and will also available for purchase at the door.
