Dec. 2 - Grand Opening at ForSight Dec. 31 to benefit Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision

December 2, 2019 - Dr. Erika Morrow will host a grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Dec. 31, from 4-7 p.m. for the newly opened ForSight. Morrow opened ForSight in a newly restored building in the Historic District in August 2019.

The Savannah Area of Chamber of Commerce will help cut the ribbon at 5:30 p.m. Raffle tickets can also be purchased at the door for $10 each or 5 for $40, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision. Raffle Prizes include an Apple Watch, $100 Visa Gift Card, prescription eyeglass lens vouchers, free frames, INVU & Maui Jim Sunglasses, and gift cards for local small businesses. The Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision is a local nonprofit that provides services to those with vision impairments and their families to promote independence and encourage growth. They serve 29 counties throughout the coastal southeast region of Georgia.

ForSight was restored and decorated using reclaimed materials from Emergent Structures and other local businesses including Forsyth Metalworks, Miracle Method, Brooks Construction, and 18Loves.

ForSight is located at 350 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, diagonal from the newly renovated Enmarket.
