Oct. 10 - Classes and Activities at Georgia Southern Cancelled Oct. 10 and 11

October 10, 2018 - Based on the latest weather forecasts for Hurricane Michael, Georgia Southern leadership has made the decision to cancel classes and all activities for Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro, Armstrong and Liberty campuses on Wednesday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct. 11. Only essential personnel should report to work.

Residence halls will remain open. Housing staff and Public Safety officers will be on the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses at all times. Students are encouraged to shelter in place and avoid unnecessary travel.
