June 11 - NOVŌ Salon Suites Grand Opening

Category: Georgia Business News

Savannah Business Journal Staff Report

June 11, 2018 - NOVŌ Salon Suites celebrated its grand opening at 1100 Eisenhower Drive, Suite 15 (Eisenhower Square Shopping Center) with a ribbon-cutting reception and fundraiser on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Nearly $1,100 was raised for the Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire at the event.

NOVŌ Salon Suites features 24 exquisitely designed, bright, modern salon suites that are available for stylists to rent, allowing them professional flexibility and independence. Clients can expect top-tier services from experts in hair, makeup, nails, and other beauty fields.

“We researched the industry and found that most salon professionals could not afford to build-out a salon and be their own boss. We recognized a need for luxury salon suites at an affordable price and NOVŌ was born,” said Marcy Lane, Director of Business Development.

The Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire: The Rape Crisis Center is well established as a comprehensive agency serving Savannah and the surrounding area. Each year, the Rape Crisis Center reaches approximately 700 victims including adults, child victims, and family members of victims. Our crisis intervention programs now include SART (Sexual Assault Response Team) and SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners), which makes the reporting process much more responsive to the victim. An additional 15,000 people are reached each year with the various prevention programs for all ages, such as Good Touch/Bad Touch, Bullying Prevention, Rape Awareness, and self-defense classes.

“The Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire is grateful for the support of NOVŌ Salon Suites as they celebrate their grand opening,” said Kesha Gibson-Carter, executive director of the Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire.
