Category: BOOK OF LISTS

Savannah Business Journal Staff Report

October 6, 2016 - We have received important updates to the Chatham Area Transit (CAT) and the Civic Center Evacuation Assembly Area (EAA) schedules, as distributed in an earlier post from the Chatham Emergency Management Agency.

CAT will halt transportation to the Civic Center at midnight tonight. They will resume at 6 a.m. and provide that service until 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7.

The EAA will continue providing evacuation transport throughout the night until 12 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. If you wish to take one of the buses out between midnight and 6 a.m., please use cab or a ride sharing service.

At noon tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 7) the EAA will be closed. At that point there will be no public transportation out of Chatham County.
