Nov. 27, 2013 – The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce supports Small Business Saturday which is Saturday, Nov 30.  Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. American Express founded the day in 2010 and is celebrated each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

"Small businesses are the backbone of our community and we need to support them on this day and everyday," said Blakely Williams, Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce President & CEO.  "Our local merchants have unique gifts and treasures you won't find anywhere else.  When you shop and dine local, you are supporting our friends and neighbors.  The money you spend locally, stays in our community, helping to sustain and build all of the things we love about the Lowcountry."
