June 18, 2014 - The Clubhouse in Statesboro Georgia has announced the Grand Opening date of its new, eco- friendly go cart track, the Coca-Cola 125 Raceway. After 13 weeks of construction by Lavender and Associates Inc., Statesboro’s most anticipated summer attraction is set to open Friday, June 27th.

The Coca-Cola 125 Raceway is the only one of its kind in Southeast Georgia, featuring 28 of the industry’s most cutting-edge, fully electric, environmentally friendly go carts. The new attraction combines the excitement of real-life racing sounds with the sensation of driving on a professional racing course. Each cart features an on board audio system with accelerator-sensitive stock car engine sounds, driver controlled turbo boost, wirelessly controlled messages that instruct racers on track rules and driving technique, and a pit sound system that hypes the race for spectators. The unique course layout is one of hilly terrain, filled with twists & turns, offering drivers a thrilling 1.25 mile adventure.

“We couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the course,” said Darin Van Tassell, owner. “We are looking forward to all of the excitement the Coca-Cola 125 Raceway is going to bring this summer. We want guests from Bulloch and all the surrounding counties to visit The Clubhouse, aiming to have a fun outing with their family and friends, and leave with the feeling that they can’t wait until their next visit. Making The Clubhouse the best place for fun and unforgettable memories is what we strive to do every day.”

As the newest entertainment attraction at the Clubhouse, the Coca-Cola 125 Raceway will generate additional jobs in Bulloch County. The Clubhouse staff is expected to increase to accommodate guest traffic, which is anticipated to total 1,200 people per day and 34,000 per month during the summer season.

Each of the 28 go carts will be painted and maintained by the Raceway’s sponsor, Statesboro Coca- Cola Bottling Co. Netra Van Tassell, owner of The Clubhouse said, “Since our opening in 2010, Coca-Cola has been such a supportive vendor. We’re thankful for their continued interest and involvement with The Clubhouse and our growing attractions. The Coca-Cola 125 Raceway is going to be an exciting addition to the Statesboro community, and we’re glad Coca-Cola is such a big part of it.”

In addition to the Coca-Cola 125 Raceway, the Clubhouse’s 30 acre sports and entertainment complex features a 42,000 square foot indoor facility with 24 lanes of bowling, including 4 luxury lanes in a private party suite, as well as a state-of-the-art arcade, “Evasion Training Center”, mini bowling, laser tag arena, and Ballocity Indoor Playground. Other activities include a championship mini golf course, golf practice range, batting cages, a Sports Academy, and full service pro shop. The newly remodeled and expanded Spikes

Sports Grill and Bar features a completely new menu, along with beer and wine for guests 21 and older. The

Clubhouse also has space for meetings, parties and other special events. For more information, visit
